I have a stupid dream. (Ah, the lesser known 'I have a stupid dream' speech.) The dream is to be in a field of tall grass - the yellow hued kind - with the sun streaming down, making gorgeous sun rays as it passes through the thick branches and leaves of a lone tree. I'd be wearing a bohemian, white sundress and being playfully chased in and out of the grass while my hair and said dress swish around me from the breeze...
HAH. This remains a dream. In reality, I'd be paranoid of crickets and ants in the grass and I'd be petrified while being "playfully" chased because I know the end result is me being tickled. And I am extremely ticklish. What is the point in all this waffle? Because the one thing that doesn't have to remain fictional anymore is the dress. I've found the dress of my tall grass dream!!
First spotted on Millie Mackintosh's Instagram, I was relieved to find it was from the very affordable ASOS. It is about as bohemian as I'll go (all that's missing is the flower crown) but instead of finding a field, I chose to give it a jaunt around a shopping centre last week instead. I'm a city girl at heart, after all.
Are you kidding me!! I just went to ASOS to grab the link for this dress and saw it's on sale! What's the deal, Sod? And why do you slap your law on me so often?
Though the current UK weather resembles the middle of the North Sea, this dress will be getting more exercise because luckily for me, I zoom off to the warmer motherland (that's China) next week. So between now and then I'll be frantically thinking of blog posts to write and schedule. Can't blog while I'm away, you see - not because I want to take a break or anything but because you can't access Blogger in China. WHAT THE HELL, CHINA?
