JESSIE HARRIS pilot necklace
Not a necklace I bought this time, nor a piece sent to me to be featured in a post. This beautiful thing was a product of an Instagram giveaway that I won last month and as it does fit with my usual style so well, it would be foolish to not blog it.
I'm all about minimal jewellery being able to make as much of an impact as statement jewellery. In its subtlety, there's elegance, and the slight gleams of gold across the skin are... NAH I'm just messin' with you. Whilst I do believe what I'm saying, I wouldn't be so glaringly pretentious about it. Minimal jewellery just looks GOOD. Clean, simple, so you can't really go wrong. (And layering it up looks ridicky-donk good.)
I usually pass over giveaways but I was so drawn to the prize! Taken from her about me:
I couldn't have said it better about this particular pilot necklace. In my own words, though? It's so smooth and shiny and satisfyingly weighty (aka the words of an actual magpie bird). See it in action on my Instagram here! Whilst the collection is out of my budget, I don't think there's any harm in browsing and taking inspiration from it, style-wise.
