What I wore to graduation!
I've been mahoosively slacking on the blog posts recently so I thought I'd better get my act together and post this outfit before it gets lost in my blog photos limbo (those outfits I've shot that never ended up going up).
I knew I was going to wear white but other than that, my outfit was very spontaneously put together - very unlike me! The first dress was the result of a mad dash around the Trafford Centre two weeks before grad and then got subsequently exchanged for this number two DAYS before I went down to London because "I wasn't feeling it" anymore.
Do I love it? No. Because it's an overpriced, plain white dress. But I love how it's a blank canvas for accessories, so I can change up my look and get more use out of it over summer.
A bright statement necklace was the obvious choice for a high white neckline (though I did dither on sticking to my comfort zone of layering light gold pieces!) and this colourful and insanely heavy one from Zara did the trick. And thanks to it having every coloured gem under the sun, I could go with whatever for shoes.
I did envision gliding across the stage in a pair of Valentino Rockstuds but lololol as if. So I chose these as-good-as-it'll-get pink T-bar heels from Zara. And then a week later they went on sale, eurgh. They're extremely high but extreeeemely pretty! I've never felt girlier.
