They say I'm too young to love you

Today the hair is up in a bun and the Oreos are double stuffed. AKA leave me alone. We booked our flights for our holiday but it's far too long away for my liking, so I'm continuing on with my max and relax attitude until it's actually acceptable to start counting down. Currently being binged is Modern Family, which I've rediscovered my love for. If I ever marry a Phil Dunphy, I think I'd have a happy life.

It was a wet 'n' not so wild one which forced me to dust off the leather pants. I don't dress for seasons anyway (white jeans in winter, inappropriately short skirts on very blustery days etc.) but leather pants are not something I want to be squeezing into when it's supposed to be summer. This had better be the last time I wear these until September! I'm shaking my fist at the sky as I write.

On the other hand, this Whistles light knitted jumper and I have become inseparable. Didn't I say it was The One in terms of grey ~sweaters~? So soft, so light and so layerable!

  1. This outfit is so casual chic! And I'm totally with you on the dress by season rule. Who cares if it's the dead of winter and I want to wear a bright floral dress?

I might have to rethink my opinions of H&M. I've been wary of buying trousers there because I worry about the quality. Those leather trousers look great!

  2. Dat bag. I really need a new pair of leather trousers ready for autumn - this summer is a ridiculous excuse for a season anyway! x

  3. Your coat is soooo gorgeous! Was it a recent Zara purchase? I've been dying to get a white coat but was always a bit worried it'd look a bit lab coat ish? I can see now it totally doesn't so may invest in one now! Thanks!

    1. I actually got this a few months ago as a "transition coat". Doesn't keep me very warm! And funnily enough, I actually do think of it as my lab coat haha!

  4. So crazy, it looks like you are dressed for fall (in a very chic way, of course)! I love the clean lines of that coat and your hair is nothing short of stunning. Please share those double stuffed oreos though?

Ps where are you headed for your holiday?
