Coat - Zara || Turtleneck jumper - Gap || Skirt - Zara || Shoes - Zara

Now would be a good time to either hermit in the house or to not have hair because it is SO windy, ergo cold. Cue the turtleneck (I'm positively converted) and a pair of fleece-lined, super cosy tights.

I'm not entirely convinced that this coat flies in humble little Liverpool but it was my outfit of choice for a Byron burger stop off and a cute winter walk around the park. And my trusty Zara boots didn't fail me on that either, even with their concealed wedge. I love that. There's nothing that pleases and, more importantly, relieves me more than the perfect balance of style and comfort.

Speaking of comfort, it's only wise to be emulating wooly mammals in Winter, so I've got a new hobby: KNITTING. It's another eye-roller for anyone who knows what I'm like but I got that glimmer in my eye when reading Park and Cube. The same glimmer I had when I first decided to start learning guitar. And when I get that glimmer, nothing can stop me!! Suffice to say, I rushed out to John Lewis an hour later to do some wool picking and money burning.

I am now in the process of knitting an alpaca hat! (The wool type, not for an actual alpaca.) Yes, I may have not made it long enough to even be able to fit around my head and yes, I may have unknowingly dropped a stitch so that there's a hole in the middle of the hat, but who doesn't love some instant gratification to satisfy an urge? THIS IS NOT JUST A PHASE, I promise.

  1. LOVE your turtleneck and skirt combination. So Clueless but with your Jade aesthetic thrown in for good measure. I haven't knitted since my fashion college days - I might have to dig the needles out and knit myself a snood whilst wasting every waking hour watching Taiwanese dramas...
