Don't mind that apparent patch of fire on my scarf and hair. That's just the setting sun at 4pm. I miss daylight savings!!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I went shopping big time. Westfield one day and then Oxford Street the next makes for one happy Asian and I am more than pleased with my new wardrobe additions. I did have a moment and wonder if I'd shop as much as I do now if I didn't have a blog... But then shopping isn't really for deep thinking so I didn't dwell on it.

The boxy top, scarf and bag are all new. I was in mum mode when I bought the top because I thought I should buy something warm for winter, and it's fleecy so it's definitely practical. The scarf is thin but massive enough to keep me warm so it's perfect for tube hopping.

Then the bag... THE BAG. I've had my eyes on this mini city bag for a while and since I missed out on getting the original city bag (lesson: always act on your impulses and BUY IT), when I saw it in grey for the first time, I couldn't walk away without it! It's the closest I'll get to owning the Prada Saffiano Lux Tote, which, correct if I'm wrong, is what inspired this Zara version? It's a fairly structured bag so it doesn't hold as much as I thought it would but then I do have a mahoosive woman purse. I do also love the burgundy and navy blue but grey will definitely go with more of my wardrobe. Who knows, maybe I'll pick up the blue too if I'm feeling crazy.

Honestly, it's stupid things like knowing I'll be able to wear my new something or other tomorrow that makes me really happy and actually gets me up for uni.

  1. Girl, story of my life: i absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, feel like having a blog makes me a little bit of a shopping addict. But how MAGICAL is new stuff?! Anyway, love these pieces and how you've put them together. Neutrals are just the best, aren't they?

Ugh and totally miss daylight savings too. Nothing worse than the sun setting at 4 pm!
