I've fallen from grace, took a blow to my face

Shirt - H&M || Skort - Zara || Shoes - Zara

So Nicol pointed out to me the other day that every post I've done recently includes something from Zara. This isn't intentional and I wasn't even a big Zara shopper until about a year and a half ago when for some reason it became the Mecca for style bloggers. But I absolutely love it now and most of my staple wardrobe pieces are and will be from there, so I won't apologise. I am very easily enabled from blog reading (hence why you're seeing this skort for the umpteenth time and probably about to close this tab asap). I bought this silky shirt aaages ago but all outfit photos with it have been binned because it is so unphotogenic! Yes, clothes can be unphotogenic, never mind myself! But don't those leafless trees make me look so calm, like I write poetry or something? No.

I'm currently obsheeshed with Netflix!! I've been having cartoon marathons and for someone who finds themselves watching the most random documentaries in the middle of the night, it's a goldmine. Last night I was watching this doc called Dreams of a Life about a woman named Joyce who was only found THREE YEARS after her death in her living room, as a SKELETON in front of her TV, which was STILL ON!!! WHAT??!?!!? Such a tragic story; how can anyone be forgotten for so long? And all I could think about whilst watching was omg how much electricity was wasted over those three years? :/

  1. And I'm thinking who paid for the electricity before her body was found ....

    1. I think all the bills were paid by direct debit, so it automatically came out of her bank every month! They only realised when her rent wasn't getting paid and they went to repossess her flat, had to break in because no-one was answering the door and found her :o
